Regulationson the Council of Young Scientists Of the Laboratory of Comparative Cardiologyof the Komi Sci Centre, Ural Division, RAS The Regulations were adopted at the meeting of the Laboratory of Comparative Cardiology on 04/11/2007. The activity of the Council of Young Scientists of the Laboratory of Comparative Cardiologyof the Komi Sci Centre, Ural Division, RASis aimed at effective realization of creative potential of young scientists, post-graduate students and specialists with higher education under the age of 35 (hereinafter referred to asthe young scientists) working in the Laboratory of Comparative Cardiology, at searching new ways of solving organizational, scientific, and technical problems, and also at expressing young scientists’ interests in professional field and solving important social problems.

Organizational Principles of the Activity The Council of Young Scientists operates on the basis of an annual work plan. The Council of Young Scientists gives a report at the General meeting of the young scientists of the Laboratory of Comparative Cardiology convened no less than once a year and at the final meeting of the Scientific Council of the Laboratory. The Procedure of the Council The Council of Young Scientists holds its meetings periodically and if needed, but at least once a quarter. The Council of Young Scientists is authorized to take decisions if at least half of the Council members are present at a meeting. Decisions are taken in open vote by simple majority of votes. The Procedure for the Council Election The membership of the Council of Young Scientists of the Laboratory of Comparative Cardiologyis formed from the young scientists under the age of 35 working in the Laboratory. Members are elected for a term of two years at the General meeting of the young scientists of the Laboratory in open vote by simple majority of votes with an opportunity of re-election. The meeting is authorized and its decisions are legitimate, if at least two thirds from a full list of the young scientists are present. The full list doesn’t include the Council members being away on business, on leave, or on sick leave in a day of meeting. The Chairman of the Council who is no older than 35 years old at the moment of election is elected for a term of two years from the total membership of the young scientists of the Laboratory in secret or open vote (according to the decision of the majority of the present members) by simple majority of the membership of the young scientists at the General meeting of the young scientists. The Council Structure The Council structure and its numerical strength are defined by the General meeting of the young scientists of the Laboratory of Comparative Cardiology. |
